Setting up a custom domain

There are two ways of setting up a custom domain. The first is one domain to point to one app. The second way is setting up one domain for all the apps in your account. Each app will be accessible through the domain suffixed with the title of the app.

Setup a custom domain for a single app.

1. Go to publish settings of the app you want to add the custom domain to.

2. Enter your custom domain in the domain input field.

Click publish.

3. Forward your domain to IP-address using an CNAME record:

domains.storied.co

Your app should be up and running when the domain name changes take effect. This can take up to 24 hours.

Setup a custom domain for a whole account of multiple apps.

1. Go to profile settings of the account you want to set the custom domain for.

2. Enter the custom domain in the domain input field.

Click save.

3. Forward your domain to IP-address using a CNAME record:

domains.storied.co

Your custom domain should be up and running when the domain name changes take effect. This can take up to 24 hours.

Every app that you publish will be available under this custom domain. For instance if your custom domain is:
features.brand.com
and you made an app that has a published url:
http://brand.storied.co/my-first-article
Then your app would be available under:
features.brand.com/my-first-article

Notes:
You can also combine both approaches. Any app that has its own custom domain will be available under that domain, but also under the account custom domain.
