Can I enable viewers to leave comments on my site?
Yes. We support contextual commenting, which enables commenters to place their comments exactly where they want, thereby helping to provide additional context.
To allow viewers to leave comments on your published project, you'll first need to configure your privacy settings:
- Open the Publish pop-up and go to your Privacy Settings and set access to require visitors to provide a valid email address. This ensures that all commenters are identifiable.
- Once your privacy settings are updated, go back to the Publish pop-up.
- In the pop-up, enable the Allow Comments option.
This will activate the commenting functionality on your live project. Refer to the screenshot above for visual guidance.
Comments visibility
Comments submitted on a published project are visible to anyone with access to the link. This makes the feature especially useful for:
- Internal reviews with external stakeholders who are not part of your Storied workspace
- One-on-one collaboration, such as client or partner feedback
- Team communication, allowing everyone with access to see and respond to shared comments
Note: Your internal review comments can be resolved but — unless you delete them — they will stay in the project once you're ready to share it externally. Make sure to delete internal comments prior to sharing externally. Alternatively, you can make a duplicate of the finalized version of your project, which will ensure that no previous comments are included.
